"My philosophy as an acupuncturist is to deliver evidence-informed, patient-centered medical care with the highest standards of professionalism and skill. Over the past 18 years, I have studied and practiced acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in the United States, South Korea, China, and New Zealand, gaining extensive knowledge across diverse treatment approaches.
I view acupuncture and herbal medicine as powerful medical modalities that address not only symptoms but also the root causes of illness. By drawing on the principles of Korean Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine, I approach each patient holistically—recognizing the interconnection of body, mind, and spirit. I understand that disease often reflects underlying imbalances, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, and I tailor my treatments to restore balance and promote true healing.
My ultimate goal is to support long-term health and improve quality of life by helping patients achieve harmony within their bodies and minds. Through compassionate care and clinical expertise, I strive to empower patients on their journey toward sustainable wellness."
My journey in acupuncture began in 2005 at the Henan University of Chinese Medicine in China, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Traditional Chinese and Western Integrative Medicine. This rigorous training provided me with the ability to connect Western medical knowledge with the diagnostic and therapeutic principles of Chinese medicine, allowing me to deliver integrative and individualized treatments. After completing my studies in China, I further expanded my education in New Zealand, where I obtained a Diploma in Acupuncture, strengthening my international foundation in acupuncture and herbal medicine.
Following my studies in China and New Zealand, I refined my clinical expertise through years of advanced clinical experience at a distinguished Korean medicine facility in South Korea. Building on this experience, I pursued higher education in the United States, earning both a Master of Science and Doctoral degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Since then, I have been dedicated to treating patients in the United States, applying my diverse background to provide safe, effective, and comprehensive care.
My clinical expertise spans a wide spectrum of treatment styles, including Sa-Am Acupuncture (Korean Medicine Acupuncture), Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, Electro-Acupuncture, Scalp Acupuncture, Trigger Point Acupuncture, Facial Cosmetic Acupuncture, Cupping Therapy, and Chinese Herbal Medicine. I firmly believe that Western and Chinese medicine are not opposing systems but complementary approaches that, when combined, create a powerful framework for healing and improving patient health outcomes.
I approach each patient as a unique individual, with distinct needs and concerns. I take the time to listen carefully, gaining a thorough understanding of their medical history, lifestyle, and emotional well-being. This comprehensive perspective allows me to design treatments that address not only symptoms but also the underlying causes of their health issues.
I am committed to holistic wellness, recognizing the deep interconnection of the body, mind, and spirit. I collaborate closely with my patients, educating them about their conditions and involving them actively in treatment decisions.
Patient-centered care is my top priority. I strive to provide support and guidance with professionalism, empathy, and integrity, creating an environment of comfort and trust. My goal is not only to relieve immediate health concerns but also to empower patients toward long-term wellness and an improved quality of life.
