What is Cupping?

The mechanism of cupping involves placing specialized cups on the skin's surface and creating a vacuum by either heating the air inside or using suction. This vacuum effect generates a mild pressure that pulls the skin upward, promoting increased blood circulation. The suction not only targets specific acupuncture points but also aids in the release of muscle tension and toxins.

Typically, cupping therapy takes from 10 to 15 minutes. The distinctive circular marks often left behind are not bruises but rather the result of improved blood flow and the body's natural healing response.
